40RTY Grosvenor Place
Completed in 1999 in a joint venture with Grosvenor Estates, 4ORTY was conceived as a result of three years research into the office space requirements of business occupiers in the 21st Century. With a total net area of 216,000 sq ft, the five upper floors each provide some 34,000 sq ft of very flexible office space.
In addition there are two restaurants and a café on the ground floor, and a fitness centre and limited car parking in the basement. Entry from Grosvenor Place is into the dramatic forum with a full height atrium spanning 40 metres and containing eight glass lifts to access the upper floors. The building, with three street frontages, overlooks Buckingham Place gardens at the front, Grosvenor Gardens to the south and is close to Victoria Station, one of London’s prime transport hubs.
