Spire Technology is a leading data centre developer which has successfully delivered five schemes in the UK. They total some 600,000 sq ft total space and are all graded as ‘List X’.
Spire Technology has a proven track record of delivering data centres on time and on budget to the agreed specification, including full system testing. Tenants have included Fujitsu, Unisys, Marsh, Blue Square and COLT Telecommunications.
Welwyn DC
Welwyn DC is Spire Technology’s latest data centre development and is a fully enabled shell & core data centre in the London Low Latency Radius with a connected and energised 33MVA power supply from EDF.
The facility is half let to COLT Telecommunications and fully commissioned to Tier 3 grade data centre space.
The remaining area is available to let with up to 6,320 sq m (68,000 sq ft) of raised floor space available for fit-out. The vacant area has an allocation of 17MVA @ 132kV.
